John’s love for houses, both old and new, began when, after graduating from college, he spent 4 years as a construction foreman for a small home building and remodeling company in eastern Ohio.  After earning a Ph.D. in Theology and later a Masters of Business Administration, he taught in the areas of theology and business at Newman University. 

When two of his sons started their own company helping both first-time and long-time real estate investors grow and manage their portfolios, John saw the opportunity to work alongside them while leveraging his teaching experience to help people better understand and navigate the home buying and selling process.  In May of 2024, he retired from teaching in order to work full time in the world of real estate.
